1. The mechanical seal is constructed with a double-face design, seamlessly integrated with the inner shaft sleeve, utilizing sliding transmission via compact round discs. This ensures that axial adjustments made to the pump during installation do not impact the compression of the mechanical seal.

2. To prevent pulp accumulation around the sealing surface, which could render the mechanical seal ineffective, it is essential to maintain as much openness as possible in both the sealing cavity and the tail-board.

3. The flushing water used does not disrupt the technological process as it does not enter into the media process.

1. During installation, lubricant should be applied to the inner hole of the shaft sleeve and the O-ring to ensure smooth installation. However, it should be noted that the use of petroleum-based lubricants is not recommended for EPR applications.

2. For external flushing, either ordinary tap water can be utilized or a cooling water tank can be installed. The pressure should be limited to 0.05 MPa. The purpose of this flushing and cooling system is to reduce temperature and remove any potential leakages.

3. Once the installation of the mechanical seal is confirmed to be satisfactory, it is necessary to remove screw 1 and clamping plate 2 prior to starting the machine.

4. When connecting the flushing water to ordinary tap water before pump startup, the flushing water should be turned on for 5 minutes beforehand and turned off 5 minutes after shutting down the pump. When the mechanical seal is cooled and lubricated through the cooling water tank, it is essential to ensure sufficient water supply and regular topping up.
