  • Structure Features of Type 7700 Cartridge Mechanical Seal for Mixer and Agitator

    The Type 7700 Series is a heavy-duty cartridge seal intended for use in critical mixing applications where durability and consistent performance are critical. Dual wet running(7700W) or dry running(7700D) designs with modular debris well and bearing housing are available to suit the requirements of the application. Special attention to internal clearances and the rotating mating ring arrangement allows for as much as 0.180" T.I.R. runout (radial shaft movement.) Extend MTBR, preserve batch purity and reduce leakage.

     

    • O-ring pusher cartridge seal

    • Dual pressurized face-to-face arrangement

    • Externally mounted

    • Dry running or wet running capable

    • Accommodates high levels of runout and angular deflection
